- Keystart
The keystart unit provides for the manual starting and
stopping of the generator with automatic monitoring of and shutdown of the
engine in the event of a Low Oil Pressure or High Engine Temperature fault,
as well as a warning in the event of charge fail.
Control of the unit is by a 3 position keyswitch on the front fascia,
operating between SOP, RUN and START positions with a switchable pin to
select 12 or 24V DC operation. An adjustable fault override timer is
included as standard which operates as soon as the key is turned.
The unit is offered with one input and output which allows for a wide range
of options to be installed alongside the unit for shut down protection and
plant fail indication.

- Autostart 705
The Autostart 705 provides the control features for the
automatic or manual starting and shutdown of the generator. The unit is a
microprocessor based controller, giving full programmability of timers,
trip levels and control options, with 17 front fascia LED's for the
indication of generator status and faults.
The unit provides all the control features of the Keystart 9700 unit but in
addition offers an overspeed shutdown, an underspeed shed load function and
a fail to start fault as standard. The Broadcrown Autostart 705 provides
over 40 programmable functions including timers, 3 inputs and 4 outputs,
for use wit a full range of options.

- Autostart 730
The Autostart 730 provides for the fully automatic or
manual control of a standby generator whilst also allowing for remote
monitoring through the use of a customer supplied modem. The unit has
similar controls to the Autostart 705 including 3 inputs and 4 outputs but
with the addition of 3 phase generator voltage and current measurement,
display and fault tripping. Due to this, the unit removes the need for all
other standard panel instrumentation, all information being accessible
through a 32 character back-lit liquid crystal display (LCD).
The unit also offers shutdowns as standard for over frequency, under
frequency, under voltage and overcurrent.

- ATS
Broadcrown load transfer panels are fully automatic and
interface with the Broadcrown control panel via the following terminals;
Start Signal (in standby), Gen Contactor Coil and AC Power Supply.
An IP65 enclosure houses the generator and mains contactors, fuses, under
voltage relay, lamps and associated cabling and wiring.
The enclosure is of 1.5mm mild steel construction and finished in grey RAL
7032 powder paint with pre-drilled holes in the rear corners for wall
mounting. Included is a 2.5mm zinc coated mounting plate. Hinged lockable
doors (sash locks) and a gland plate opening at the bottom allow for easy
access for maintenance and installation.
The generator and mains contactor are electrically and mechanically
interlocked to prevent the contactors from being engaged at the same time.
A three phase and neutral undervoltage relay energizes at normal voltage
conditions and controls the autostart signal and mains contactor and can be
adjusted on the front fascia by two pots to allow use with a range of
voltages.
