We build this philosophy into each unit. Our onboard microprocessor-based control systems monitor system performance and schedule routine maintenance needs. In fact, our control systems go so far as to notify both our central monitoring center and the local service representatives when preventative maintenance should take place. In the event the control system's real-time monitoring detects abnormal operating conditions, alerts are sent to our service headquarters as well as directly to our field service teams via wireless technology. If the control system detects a fault, it shuts down the appropriate equipment and likewise sends an urgent service call to our headquarters and directly to local service personnel. While Hess Microgen's units are designed to be highly reliable and low maintenance, and our use of proven technologies help ensure that unexpected outages are kept to a minimum, providing premium field service is an important part of our offering. In order to provide quality routine maintenance and for timely response in the event of an unexpected need for service, Hess Microgen has its own dedicated service professionals. Our field service representatives have extensive experience in the field maintenance of power generating equipment and have been trained to quickly identify and remedy operational anomalies.
