The Magnum MG 8 standby generator will protect you and your home from the inconveniences and potential dangerous situations caused by power outages. This fully automatic system will provide power for your furnace, refrigerator/freezer, lights, air conditioner, television, sump pump, and water heater.
The automatic transfer switch monitors the utility power 24 hours a day. When a power outage occurs, the transfer switch will automatically start the generator and transfer to emergency power. When utility power returns, the system will transfer back and shut down the generator. Whether you are home or away, rest assured that your home is protected in the event of a power outage. (The transfer switch comes equipped with a programmable timer which will exercise the unit weekly)

LOW PROFILE ENCLOSURE
A steel enclosure with durable, fade resistant, baked on polyester powder paint, protects the engine and generator from the elements. The unit's compact design, comparable to a central air conditioner, allows for it to be easily installed and stored out of the way. The enclosure comes standard with sound insulation.
MICROPROCESSOR BASED CONTROLS
State of the art, microprocessor based controls direct the operation of the generator system. Sophisticated electronics, equipped with safety shutdowns, protect the engine and generator from potentially damaging conditions.
